Thank you for purchasing your copy of ‘Get Out Hacking’ to help you get over your fears of hacking out with your horse.
Many riders have a fear of the worse-case scenario when out hacking and live in the “what if”. These negative thoughts then transmit to negative feelings and negative behaviour. We then carry tension in our body which our horse picks up on. The horse starts to worry and becomes anxious which therefore results in spooky behaviour or the fight/flight instinct kicks in.
It is the rider’s responsibility to act as the leader for the horse, so that the horse will trust his rider to take him into territories sometimes unknown. There has to be a relationship of trust and respect.
‘Get Out Hacking’ is a 19 minute recording that will change the associations that you have made with hacking out. For example if the thought of hacking is making you fearful it is in effect evoking that physical response as soon as you think of hacking.
This recording will change the way you think about hacking. It will associate good feelings with hacking like CONFIDENCE, HAPPINESS, ENJOYMENT and PARTNERSHIP with your horse.
